Union Govt. launched NATIONAL CAREER COUNSELLING PORTAL to modernize all the govt. rum employment exchange.
The portal was launched under the aegis of national career services project of union ministry of skill development and entrepreneurship.
DRISHTI
An indigenously designed and developed visibility measuring system DRISHTI was installed at the INDIRA GANDHI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, NEW DELHI
This system will operating in all its three runway.
It is used for reporting the runway visual range, which is a critical parameter for safe landing and take- off of aircraft in poor visibility condition (<25 to >2000 meters).
MARITIME COOPERATION
India and Singapore signed technical agreement (TA) on sharing white-shipping information to enhance martime cooperation between the 2 navies.
The agreement was signed during the visit of NAVY CHIEF ADMIRAL R DHOWAN TO SINGAPORE.
