Eminent kannda poet and freedom fighter KAYYARAKINHANNA RAI passed at BADIYADKKA IN KASARAGOD DISTRICT OF KERALA.

He was 101.

He was an author , poet, journalist and Indian independence activist.

ARNOLA SCAASI

ARNOLD SCAASI the Canadian fashion designer died following cardiac arrest in new York.

He was 85.

SCAASI was known for his exuberant creation that were won by socialites and Hollywood stars.

SCAASI Also designed formal wear for first ladies MAMIE EISENHOWER HILLARY CLINTON AND LAURA BUSH.

OM PRAKASH MUNJAL

The founder of HERO CYCLE OM PRAKASH MUNJAL PASSED AWAY following a brief illness at the DMC Hero Heart Center LUDHIANA.

HE WAS 87.

OM PRAKASH was born on 26 AUGUST 1928 in KARNALIA PUNJAB (THEN BRITISH INDIA)

LATER he shifted to AMRITSAR in1944 to start a bicycle spare parts business with 3 brother and began the complete manufacturing of bicycle under brand name HERO.
