Loan Agreement

Indian signed a loan agreement of 300 millions US dollars with Asian Development BANK (ADB) for its flagship program national urban health mission. The main of the NUHM is to improve the health status of the country’s urban population

E-TOURIST VISA

E-TOURIST visa scheme was extended to china , hong kong and macau with effect from 30july 2015. The facility was extended as per the decision of the 29 july 2015 of union govt.

With the inclusion of these countries the total number of countries covered under the e-Tourist visa scheme will go up 74 to 77. Under this scheme tourist with e-tourist visas can arrive at nine designated airports namely BENGALURU,CHENNAI,COCHIN,DELHI,GOA,HYDERABAD,KOLKATA, AND MUMBAI & TRIVANDRUM.

NEW RAILWAY BOARD SECRETARY

GANGA RAM AGRWAL a senior railway official has been appointed as the new secretary of RAILWAY BOARD. Agarwal’s predecessor PC GAJBHIYE attained the age of superannuation according to the RAILWAY MINISTRY RELEASE.
