21 February 2016 MASS RAPID TRANSIT SYSTEM
The Assam Govt. planned to come up with a mass rapid transit system (MRTS) in the form of metro rail for the city within next 5 years. The estimated cost of this project is Rs 18020 Crore and prepared by RITES Ltd. The govt. has approved the agreement of a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) And Guwahati Metro Rail Corporation Limited(GMRCL). The capacity of the passengers is around 975. The 203 Km metro corridor to be completed in 3 phases, forecasts traffic demand up to the year 2045.

South Indian Film actor Kalabhavan Mani passed away. He was 45 old and knows for his award – winning performance in VASANTIYAM LAKSHMIYUM PINNE NJANUM. He has worked in around 200 films and also worked in TAMIL AND TELUGU Film. He was won the KERALA STATE FILM AWARD for BEST ACTOR ROLE in year 1999 for the film like VASANTHIYUM, LAKSHMIYUM, PINNE NJANUM.

16 February 2016 Wilful Defaulter
Now a day a person in the picture named VIJAY MALLAYA for his bank loan, the Punjab national bank has declared Vijay united breweries kingfisher Airlines BSE 3.03% and vijay as Wilful Defaulter. The bank has an exposure of around Rs 710 crore towards the now grounded kingfisher airlines. Last Year SBI AND United Bank of India has declared Vijay, Kingfisher Airlines and its holding company United Breweries as willful defaulter. Kingfisher has an outstanding exposure of around Rs7,000 crore towards 11 state-run banks.

17 February 2016
The first freight train to resurrect the ancient silk road route arrived in Iran from China. It required around 14 days (32 Container) loaded with Chinese goods to complete the 9500km from CHINA’s eastern ZHEJIANG province through KAZAKHSTAN AND TURKMENISTAN..

23 February 2016 Updates
Using the USD 55 million funding from CHINA, the parliament of Pakistan become the first in the world to fully run on Solar power. This building is located at the capital of Pakistan in ISLAMABAD. This project inaugurated by Chinese President Xi Jinping visited last year. Around 80 MW power generated by solar power. And out of 80, 62 MW will be fair enough for parliament and rest 18 MW will be given to national grid.

Chinese company has built the northern main road MR 129 which was inaugurated by the President “Hage Geingob of NAMIBIAN”. The construction of this road was began on MAY 15 2013 by the Chinese company named CHINA GEZHOUBA GROUP CORPORATION and around 80 million US dollar used to complete this project. During the inauguration the president said the govt. has made a commitment to the people to build 1480 km of bitumen standard road during the next five years.

Us Senate confirmed a key administration post at the International Monetary Fund (IMF) to Sunil Sabharwal (1st Indian-American). Us President Barack Obama nominated him for the post in April 2014 and then re-nominated in march 2015.

11 March 2016 Update
Ahmed AbulGheit Egyptian former foreign minister was appointed as the new secretary general of the Arab League. Arab League Pact “Article 12”, the secretary general is to be appointed upon the vote of two-thirds of the member states, currently 21 after the suspension of Syria’s membership over its crisis.
